About the pit

The PIT is a lifter’s gym — it’s not for the faint of heart. When you walk in, you’re there to do work. With a heavy Strongman and Powerlifting presence, there’s no shortage of toys to play with. It’s all about having fun and giving it all you’ve got.

And we’re just getting started!  We’re determined to make the PIT an all-inclusive fitness destination you’ll want to call home.

Whatever your reason for working out, at the end of the day we want you to look good naked and add years to your life. 

The PIT helps you get from Point A to Point B efficiently. Forget hours on treadmills and ellipticals with no results. Functional fitness trains your muscles to work together and work better, in and out of the gym.

Gina Gerard (Owner)

The PIT owner and coach, Gina Gerard, has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years, initially as a personal trainer and class instructor and then in management and training from 2015 to 2019.

She loves helping people learn a more efficient way to achieve their fitness goals. From beginner to professional, teen to older adult, illness, post-surgery, post-rehab, and injury prevention, Gina is skilled at creating the right program for every situation. 

Her ultimate aim: To show everyone how functional workouts are an easy and fun way to get results you want.
